Day five

Today we had to work at the coffee house. We met Steve at 9 am. First he told us we had to work in the maintenance, but later he said we had to work at the coffee house. The coffee house is in the Country Club, as well as the swimmingpool, the sport areas and spa. At the coffee house we met Millie and Anna. They were very nice to us. We talked a lot, I really enjoyed it. They were very interested in how our daily life, our school and our country looks like. We had to do a couple of small jobs today. First, I learned how to make a cappuccino with a big machine like they use in restaurants. I really liked it since I absolutely love cappuccino. Later we had to organize the cutlery. I learned how to do it neatly. Afterwards we went into the storage where we had to organize all the products. When we were done we had to count the products and how write down their quantity. Later we went into the kitchen where we had to cut cucumber and tomatoes for the salad. Afterwards we had a long break. After lunch Steve checked up on us. We went back to the coffee house and we had to make two cappuccino's and serve them. Anna helped us with it. We also had to fill the mini fridge with bottles of drinks. Later we had to go back to the kitchen and we helped with cleaning the kitchen. Before we knew it, it was 2 o'clock. Anna and Millie said goodbye to us and we went back to our cottage. I really liked this day and I would like to do some sort of job parttime. I felt very comfortable thanks to Millie and Anna, they were easy to talk to and made us feel very welcome. I wouldn't mind doing this again some time.

In the Afternoon we went for cream tea. It was lovely. We had some different cakes and a cup of tea. Afterwards we went to Isle of Wight Pearl. It's a shop where they sell pearls from the sea. Later we went for a walk on the beach because the weather was lovely! We stayed on the beach for quite a while. When we came back from the beach we went for a drink in a restaurant. after our drink we drove to Rainbow, a fish and chips shop. At our cottage we ate fish and chips and now we're chilling.

Today was a really nice day and I'm really enjoying my stay with Jacey and her family.
